First, we will visit Pashupatinath Temple ( Biggest & holiest Hindu Temple in Kathmandu), situated at the river bank of Bagmati River, where you will also witness the Hindu ritual of cremation of a dead body. Next, we visit Buddhanath Stupa (One of the biggest Buddhist Stupa in Kathmandu).
Further, we will visit Syambhunath Stupa also known as Monkey Temple which is situated at the small top of the hill offering 360 degree views of Kathmandu valley. After that, we will be back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

In Gorkha, you will visit the Gorkha museum and Gorkha Durbar & Gorakhkali Temple. Gorkha museum is at a lower Gorkha Durbar, also known as Tallo Durbar, is situated at Gorkha town. At the museum, you will see historical artifacts that date back the days of King Prithvi Narayan Shah, and his predecessors. King Prithvi Narayan Shah unified greater Nepal.
Next, we will visit the historical Gorkha palace which is situated at the top of the hill. Here, you will see famous durbar squares, incredible Gorakhnath temple (sage) & Incredible Gorakhkali Temple. Afternoon, transfer to Bandipur village through nature and hill section drive. Evening, walk at Bandipur old town, and Newari village surroundings.

Drive from Tatopani to Kalopani is through the Dana valley which is the deepest gorge of the world. En-route, you will have a nice Ruptse waterfall. From Kalopani onward, you will be driving in a dry and deserted mountain valley in mustang.

We will visit the incredible Thakali cultural villages of Kobang, Tukuche and Marpha, then to Jomsom Valley which is a headquarters of mustang district.
Drive from Jomsom is amazing along with Kali Gandaki valley, then to a deserted hill up to Muktinath at 3800m. Muktinath is a typical Thakali village with amazing views of Mt. Dhawalagiri ( 8167m), Nirgiri and other mighty Himalayan views and incredible landscape valleys. In Muktinath, we will visit Muktinath Temple which is an important temple for both buddhist and Hindu pilgrimage.
Muktinath is a stop over for Annapurna Circuit Trekkers who will cross Thorong-la (5416m) pass- highest pass of the world over from Manang to Mustang Valley.
In the late afternoon, we will have an incredible landscape drive to Chhusang through Kali Gandaki valley. Overnight stay in Chhusang.

Lo-manthang is known as the wall city in mustang. Lo-manthang is famous for its walls and monastery section in the village surroundings. It is mystical, and was a forbidden kingdom till 1992, so you will have insight into the pure and authentic Tibetan culture, buddhist customs even now. It is a great Tibetan Buddhist mountainous valley in the north of Himalayas, bordering Tibet with open highlands. Overnight stay in Lo-manthang.

Today after breakfast at a lodge in Lo-manthang, we will drive to Chosar, a natural cave valley in the mustang region. Chosar is the last mustang village toward the Tibet border.

On the Tibet border drive, there is a Nepal Government Armed Police Force check post, established recently, bordering its land with Tibet.
Korla border is an open high valley border of Tibet, China and Nepal. On the Chinese side, there are several buildings being made, a Chinese army check post, and other administration buildings. However, the Nepal side has nothing yet. Nepal is planning to establish its administration buildings on this border for future immigration border and trade routes to China.
We will drive back to Lo-manthang for lunch. This afternoon, you will have a leisure afternoon to relax or stroll around in Lo-manthang village.

Afternoon, we will drive to Ghar Gumba. Ghar Gumba is a small but nice village in the lap of a mountain. It has probably the oldest monastery of the Mustang region. Ghar Gumba village is incredible with typical Tibetan lifestyles and Buddhist culture. The landscape views of sunset and sunrise here are spectacular. Overnight stay in Ghar Gumba.

Bal Bahadur Tamang was born in Solukhumbu. After completing his eighth grade, he left his village and went to Jiri to work as a porter. His first experience as a porter was to carry a big sack of rice from Jiri to Lukla. He has carried as heavy as 60 kg of load on his back as a porter.

Yes, this tour is a private tour. Individual entry to Upper Mustang is restricted by the Nepal Government so we need a minimum of two people to organize this tour.
Upper mustang openly borders Tibet, China so due to this, Nepal Government treats this border as an important border for China, thus we need special permit from Nepal Government, Department of Immigration to tour to this region. In addition to this, we also need an ACAP permit to tour over this region.
You will be staying at mountain lodges and guest houses during this tour in the upper mustang region. Guest houses will have proper beds, neat and clean and comfortable rooms.
Drive from Kathmandu to Bandipur, Pokhara then to Kusma is along the nepalese highway so it is black-pitched road and comfortable drive, but traffic delays are expected sometimes. Road from Kusma to Beni, then to Tatopani to Late, Kalopani is an off and rough road, a lot of winding roads in deep valleys and the road section is very narrow. Drive from Kalopani to Jomsom is a nice black- pitched road. From Jomsom to Kagbeni is off road, but from there to Muktinath is a good black-pitcked road. The complete road from Kagbeni to Lo-manthang and return is an off and rough road in deserted valley, uphill and downhill.
We will be using 4X4 jeep drive so the off road drive will be safe and comfortable.
