I was hesitant about a short tour, but the itinerary with Classic Vacations Nepal (4 nights, 5 days) turned it into an experience that felt fulfilling. We did have some early mornings, but they were definitely worth it, especially at Tiger's Nest.
The cultural learning was solid: engaging with local people, trying Bhutanese food, and learning about Buddhism. The drives were even stunning than the passes at Dochu La. My only complaint - wish we had one more day in Punakha. But, unforgettable overall.
Classic Vacations Nepal managed our Bhutan tour as if it were a dream. Although the itinerary was rather tight, it was good and fair, giving us enough time to explore without getting tired. I must say that Kyichu Lhakhang in Paro, the local folk museum in Thimphu, and Punakha Dzong were the places that touched my heart the most.
We were lucky to get a very nice guide who was not only warm and flexible but also made sure we felt safe on every trail. The hotels were nice and comfortable, with very beautiful views. If you only have five days, you cannot go wrong with this tour by Classic Vacations Nepal to see Bhutan’s heart.
First of all, what a nice Bhutan tour. The 4N/5D tour did not miss the best of Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha. Every day we had something different to do: visiting monasteries, climbing to the Tiger’s Nest, trying the new local food, and getting the beautiful and quiet view of the mountains.
Classic Vacations Nepal took care of all the logistics part, i.e., permits, hotels, meals, etc. We were simply there to enjoy and absorb. The truth is, it was a really refreshing and cultural trip of the highest caliber.
I couldn’t be happier with the arrangements of Classic Vacations Nepal on our Bhutan tour. From the time we were collected in Paro to our goodbye in Punakha, everything went without any problems.
The information and suggestions of our guide were very interesting, especially in relation to dzongs, rituals, and local crafts. The view from Dochu La Pass was just amazing. Our lodge rooms were clean and pleasant. This trip was a real Bhutanese experience, which lasted five days.
Just got back from an amazing 4-night/5-day trip to Bhutan with Classic Vacations Nepal. The whole Bhutan itinerary was great: Tiger's Nest hike, Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha visits - all your time was used perfectly without feeling rushed.
Our guide knows everything about Bhutan’s culture and was always happy to explain and show us the way to understand the landmarks, temples, and monasteries.
The transportation and accommodation were comfortable and on time. I suggest it to those who are looking for a deeply immersive yet manageable Bhutan experience.
Having just returned from an epic cultural holiday exploring the Himalayas, I can’t speak highly enough of Classic Vacations Nepal and the attentive care we were given by Chet Bhatta. Using Kathmandu in Nepal as our base we travelled to both the beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan and the breathtaking territory of Ladakh in India.
Both trips were very well organized, the tour guides exceptional and the accommodation terrific. Chet could not do enough to make sure we were happy and made sure we were well prepared for the different trips from supplying an extra parka jacket and even a finger pulse oximeter for the high passes in Ladakh. He was always available to answer questions at any time of the day. We had an outstanding holiday thanks to Classic Vacations Nepal

Just finished the 5-day (4 nights) Bhutan trip - such an impactful trip. Classic Vacations Nepal did an exceptional job coordinating visas, transportation, guides, etc. I loved waking up in Thimphu, breathing the crisp mountain air, and getting to visit monasteries that feel completely suspended in time.
The Tiger's Nest hike was a challenge but delivered amazing vistas. The Punakha valley was serene and verdant. Overall, the kind of trip that will stick with you for years.
Unforgettable EBC Trekking experience with outstanding service..
I completed the Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek on November 24, and Classic Vacations Nepal arranged a customised itinerary for two of us. Their service was exceptional from start to finish.
The owner, Chet, was professional, approachable, and ensured everything went smoothly. When our flight to Lukla was canceled due to bad weather, he quickly arranged a helicopter for us. The communication, logistics, and personal attention were excellent throughout.
The accommodations in Lukla, Phakding, and Namche exceeded our expectations, and the guide and porters were friendly and helpful, making the journey enjoyable and safe.
I highly recommend Classic Vacations Nepal for anyone planning an EBC trek or any Nepal adventure. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’ll definitely choose them again!

Wonderful trek in the Upper Mustang
This is the second trek, organized by Chet, that we have done as two friends who like to walk. The first was the Annapurna circuit (loved it and highly recommend it) and this time we had chosen to visit the beautiful Upper Mustang. In 2018 we did the AC trek through Nepal Vision Treks whereas this time it was a joint venture between Classic Vacations Nepal and Nepal Vision Treks.
The scenery in the Upper Mustang is spectacular, as are most areas in Nepal in my experience. Not as many snow capped peaks this time however Nilgiri can still be seen for a big part of the trek as can others peaks. It is an area that doesn’t get much rain however when we were there (August) we did have some rain and the roads weren’t as dusty as I believe they can be at other times. The villages and the people are lovely and as two women trekking we never had any issues.
Overall, I can highly recommend this trek. Thank you, Namaste, and I hope we will meet again someday !
