We did EBC trek with Classic Vacations in April ‘24. Chet was very professional and a delight to work with especially when things didn’t go according to plan . One of my friends had to drop out just before the start date and Chet managed to refund a reasonable amount. We also needed 2 helicopter evacuations at different stages and again Chet coordinated the whole operation seamlessly. The return flight from Lukla to Kathmandu was cancelled for the rest of the group and Chet managed to organise a helicopter the same day to get us back to Kathmandu . We were all provided with all the essential paperwork for insurance claim.
Chet also had a personal touch in his dealings by visiting us at the hotel in Kathmandu to make sure that we were all ok. The guides were also very friendly and knowledgeable. Chet was accommodating in letting us choose the restaurant of our choice for the farewell dinner .

My 14 day trek through the Annapurna's tea house trekking and then into Upper Mustang camping trek for 14 days was the best trek I have done during 10 years of trekking in Nepal.
Chet Bhatta from Classic Vacations Nepal organized an itinerary that totally suited our needs and desires. The trek was catered for in every detail and we were able to enjoy trekking in such an incredibly beautiful and mysterious place. The guides and porters were amazing and so caring and the cook and the kitchen kept coming up with the most delicious food. Our tour to Mustang overland was perfect. My driver was experienced driving off-road. He drove slowly so we had a comfortable drive. Whenever we wanted to stay, he stopped for photography so it was nice. Chet provided us 4 wheel drive for only two of us so we had enough space in our jeep for ourselves and our bags. Our guide Madhu is a great guide. He always made sure that we were having a good time. He was knowledgeable and fluent in English. Meals provided were super ! We love every food during this tour. Mustang is amazing with landscapes and nature. We loved this tour very much.

We just arrived back from a once in a life time experience climbing to the Everest Base Camp coordinated and guided by Classic Vacations Nepal. My partner & I have just returned from doing a trek as part of a package that we booked through Chet Bhatta and his company in Kathmandu. We had nothing but praise for the company as nothing was too much trouble for them to arrange. The trek to Annapurna Base Camp over 9 days was picture perfect as was the guide Iswor that we had to lead us along the trails & the porter who carried our bags..The lodges were clean & comfortable meals were varied & just what you need to fuel the body after a day trekking. Great company, experienced guides. I highly recommend Classic Vacations Nepal. I have used them a couple of times for Treks, Mountaineering and tours. Great troubleshooters too should you encounter any issues while in Nepal. Very flexible, nothing seems too difficult or out of reach with this travel company.
Wonderful trek in the Upper Mustang
This is the second trek, organized by Chet, that we have done as two friends who like to walk. The first was the Annapurna circuit (loved it and highly recommend it) and this time we had chosen to visit the beautiful Upper Mustang. In 2018 we did the AC trek through Nepal Vision Treks whereas this time it was a joint venture between Classic Vacations Nepal and Nepal Vision Treks.
The scenery in the Upper Mustang is spectacular, as are most areas in Nepal in my experience. Not as many snow capped peaks this time however Nilgiri can still be seen for a big part of the trek as can others peaks. It is an area that doesn’t get much rain however when we were there (August) we did have some rain and the roads weren’t as dusty as I believe they can be at other times. The villages and the people are lovely and as two women trekking we never had any issues.
Overall, I can highly recommend this trek. Thank you, Namaste, and I hope we will meet again someday !
My husband and I did a tour of Upper Mustang by jeep with Classic Vacations Nepal. This company was highly recommended by our friends in Perth, WA. And I now highly recommend them too they are professional, helpful and knowledgeable. Our guide and driver were not only professional but smart and spoke good English too.
Prior to the Mustang trip I did the EBC trek with a different company, who were not good at all and hadn’t organized my trek well so I decided to abandon half way and returned back to Kathmandu. Mr Chet really helped me and advised. Once I returned to Kathmandu Mr Chet looked after me so well. He would check on me everyday and made sure I was fine until my husband arrived to join for Upper Mustang trip. Mr Chet and his team treat their clients well and look after them. Great company, did a 16 day trip with them in December. Chet was quick to reply to all my questions prior to the trip and made sure we could combine 2 trips into 1 to squeeze in all we wanted to see. Having just returned from an epic cultural holiday exploring the Himalayas, I can’t speak highly enough of Classic Vacations Nepal and the attentive care we were given by Chet Bhatta. Using Kathmandu in Nepal as our base we travelled to both the beautiful Kingdom of Bhutan and the breathtaking territory of Ladakh in India. Both trips were very well organized, the tour guides exceptional and the accommodation terrific. Chet could not do enough to make sure we were happy and made sure we were well prepared for the different trips from supplying an extra parka jacket and even a finger pulse oximeter for the high passes in Ladakh. Recently completed traveling through Bhutan and the Himalayan region of India (Ladakh) organized by Classic Vacations Nepal. The trip was fantastic. The people and landscape were amazing. Having just had a successful ascent of Mt Mera peak with Classic Vacations Nepal, I can not speak more highly of this company and the people they employ. The guides and porters are of first class material - a mixture of experience, knowledge and practicality that made the whole trek a joy to be part of. I found the managing director - Mr Chet Bhatta, to be a warm, charming and caring person, who only had our best interests at heart and who only wanted to have a successful and enjoyable trek for me and a type of person who went out of his way to make it so.
