The square boasts traditional Nepali and Newari architecture, adding to its cultural allure. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to explore several sacred Hindu temples, including Taleju Temple, Kal Bhairav Temple, and the Kumari Ghar (the residence of the living goddess). This afternoon, you will visit the main cultural and scenic sites in the valley. You will be visiting a Bindabasini Temple, a Hindu temple which is considered to be an incarnation of Goddess Durga, the Hindu goddess of power and protection. It is one of the biggest Hindu temples in Pokhara.
From here, you will be taken to the Fewa Lake, where the water flows down to the canyon, creating a magnificent waterfall known as Davis Falls. The scenery surrounding this waterfall is truly breathtaking. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to visit Gupteshwor Cave, a natural cave dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the main deities in Hinduism.
Next, we will visit the International Mountain Museum, which is preserved by Nepal Mountaineering Association. The museum showcases the rich culture and mountaineering heritage of the Nepali people. The museum provides insights to the traditional mountain lifestyles, artifacts related to mountains and mountaineering, customs and practices of various ethnic groups living in the Himalayan region of Nepal. With some time to rest at the resort, you will then be transferred to the Jeep Safari Drive in Chitwan National Park, which takes about 4 hours. This Jeep Safari provides an excellent opportunity to spot various wildlife species, including different species of deer (like spotted deer and hog deer), one-horned rhinoceros, sloth bears, leopards, wild boars, langur monkeys, etc. As Chitwan National Park is a habitat for the Royal Bengal tiger, you will have the best chances to encounter the tiger during your jungle drive excursion. From Chitwan, we will have a nice and pleasant drive to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. During this Classic Nepal Tour, your meals at the hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara include breakfast. While staying in Chitwan, your meals is at full board (B, L, D). Staying at Lumbini, Nagarkot and Dhulikhel will be based on the MAP Plan (Breakfast & Dinner) at your hotel.
We will host a welcome dinner at typical Nepalese restaurant on your arrival day and a farewell dinner at one of the finest restaurant in town on the last day of your trip with us.
During this Tour, you will be staying in 4-star deluxe hotels and resorts. Specifically, in Kathmandu, you will stay at either Hotel Ramada Thamel or Hotel Barahi Kathmandu. In Pokhara, you will be staying in Hotel Barahi or similar standard hotel and Bandipur Village Inn in Bandipur. While at Chitwan, your accommodation is at nice and beautiful Landmark Forest Resort or similar resort, and Lumbini Buddha Garden Resort in Lumbini. In Nagarkot, you will enjoy accommodations at a beautiful hilltop resort called Hotel Country Villa. In Dhulikhel, you will stay at Aagantuk Resort or a similar standard hotel.
