Overview

Annapurna Circuit Trek is the most classic trekking in the entire Annapurna region. No doubt, Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most popular trekking destinations in the world. This trek is very scenic, incredible with landscapes and Himalayan valleys. This trek offers magnificent views of the Annapurna massif itself and incredible views of Annapurna region Himalayan panorama.

This trek involves walking mainly in two river valleys, Marshyangdi River Valley and Kali Gandaki River valley encircling the massive Annapurna, and all the Annapurna region mountains peaks throughout this trek.

The first leg of this trek is natural, walking through the farming villages and green valley’s so it is beautiful walking. Manang, the most amazing village in Marshyangdi valley offers magnificent towering views of Annapurna’s peaks and mountains. Manang is a great Himalayan valley with incredible landscapes, views, typical Manang villages and its peoples. Thorong-la pass, at altitude of 5416m is known as the highest trekking pass of the world. After Thorong-la pass, we will be in Kali Gandaki valley, which is the most landscape Himalayan valley of Nepal. Cross mustang, you will be walking in the deepest gorge of the world, between Dhawalagiri (8167m) and Annapurna I (8091m). The last leg of this trek will be in green nature, forested hill surroundings. This trek provides an excellent opportunity to experience lifestyles, culture and traditions of different ethnic groups, and cast peoples living in this region.

Tilicho Lake Trek:
Tilicho Lake, situated at approx. altitude of 4919m from sea level, is the highest altitude situated lake in the world. Tilicho Lake is incredible. Massive towering view of Tilicho Peak (7134m) and panorama of other Annapurna peaks are spectacular from here.

This lake trek is through the rough trail, less developed and has some steep section trek trails. Tilicho Lake trek separates from Manang to Khansar village, then to Tilicho Base Camp hotel to Tilicho Lake, then return to Yak Kharka to join Annapurna Circuit Trek route.

Mustang Trek:
The literal meaning of Mustang is “Fertile Plain”, former kingdom of Lo and now it is a part of Nepal, bordering the Tibetan plateau, which was opened for tourists in March 1992. Upper mustang is a barren valley with Trans Himalaya. Mustang was once an important route for crossing the Himalaya between Tibet and Nepal, and many of the old salt caravans passed through Mustang. This is an area where we will trek to, discovering the wonders of the architecture, language, their interesting culture and traditions which are almost purely Tibetan.

Trekking in Mustang region is a unique experience, which takes you to an arid region beyond the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The route entails traveling across desert like landscape, barren ridges, deep canyons, eroded cliffs and moraine valleys. Trekking in Mustang is truly one of the most rewarding experiences in Nepal. So, through this trek you will have a close up view of the primitive society that has remained unaffected by modernization for centuries.
